What is Postmodernism?
Postmodernism cannot always be defined as is many people often have different views on what it may be and it is often unclear. It is also a wide range term which is why its hard to define simply.
However, it can be thought to be a late 20th-century style in the arts, architecture and criticism that represents a departure from modernism. Postmodernism is largely a reaction to the assumed certainty of scientific, or objective efforts to explain reality. This is why its hard to define as everyone has different values, cultures and lifestyles which alters their opinion on postmodernism and how they interpret things based on their own human reality.
